Last year, we learned that the next big game from Remedy, the studio responsible for titles like Alan Wake and Control, would be funded by Epic Games, with some rumors indicating that we would finally have a sequel to Alan Wake.

This week, Remedy announced that the project has finally entered production.

In addition to revealing the start of production, the statement also states that the Remedy Entertainment team already has around 300 people, indicating that the growth of recent years is bearing fruit.

In addition to the new high-budget game, the studio is also working on a cooperative PvE multiplayer derivative of Control (called Condor), as well as on a direct sequel to Control. We also have Vanguard, a free multiplayer game that continues to be developed by the studio.
