Apple's productivity apps – Pages, Keynote, Numbers – received updates after a six-month gap. Pages is the word processing application, while Lecture and Numbers are used for presentations and spreadsheets. Here we tell you what's new in the three productivity apps from Litter:
What's new in Pages?
Apple has added the functionality to publish directly from Pages to Apple Books. Users can publish file sizes up to 2 GB. Additionally, users will have more options for setting font sizes as well as placing page numbers in a document. On the iPhone, anyone who uses – or wants to use – Pages will get new launch actions directly from the app's icon. For example, if users long-press the Pages app icon, they can create a new document directly from the home screen. Apple has added VoiceOver controls to Pages, along with features for reading comments and tracking changes.
What's New in Numbers?
Numbers is Apple's spreadsheet application and it has also been updated with new features. Users can now adjust the font size up to two decimal places. Furthermore, users can capture snapshots of table cells without any formulas, hidden values or categories. Like Pages, Numbers also gets more VoiceOver controls, as well as the ability to create formulas and fill cells using the accessibility feature.
What's new in Keynote?
Keynote is Apple's answer to PowerPoint and the app has received minor updates as well. Users can now zoom slides to a maximum level of 400%. Also, users will have the ability to change font sizes more accurately.
All apps have been updated to version 12.0 and will update automatically. If users don't have the automatic app updates feature, they can go to the App Store and get the new version of the three apps.
