the strategy game age of empire it is currently a PC exclusive, however that is about to change soon with the arrival of the mobile version of the game and which will be called 'Return of Empire' (Retorno do Império, in Portuguese), being produced in partnership between the developer and Xbox Games Studios and World's Edge.

According to information, this version will only be released in China, but there are still no dates and not many details, which should be announced soon.

for now yet we don't know if the smartphone version will be released outside of China, information that should be shared by the developer in the coming months. A promotional video should be published tomorrow (16) revealing some details about gameplay and graphics.

The news was shared on the official Twitter profile of Daniel Ahmad, who stated that:

"THE Tencent's TiMi Studios Group has confirmed that it is working with Xbox Game Studios and subsidiary World Edge to adapt the Age of Empires IP for smartphones. The game is being developed by TiMi Studios under the title 'Return to Empire' and is expected to be released in China.”.

At the beginning of the month the developer started the testing period of Age of Empire IV, which is available in its beta version until Sunday (15), allowing players to battle with up to 8 players and has some Artificial Intelligence (AI) resources, which can make up for the absence of some participants.

O Age of Empire IV officially released on October 28th and will be exclusive to PC, not winning a version for smartphones.
