An investment platform is using Danilo Gentili's image to claim that the presenter is a cryptocurrency investor, something he denied was true.

Gentili became well known in Brazil after his participation in CQC, former Rede Bandeirantes program. After that, he ended up moving to SBT, where he leads the attraction The Noite.

Call of Immediate Edge, the strange platform, which only has mentions on sites with dubious domains, cites extraordinary gains with cryptocurrencies.

Danilo Gentili sees his image being used on strange websites and denies being a cryptocurrency investor: “I never invested”

In Brazil, the coup called bitcoin loophole usually attract victims to their network using the image of celebrities. Among the personalities who have already seen their image linked to scams are Tiago Leifert (from the BBB), Carla Perez, Chico Buarque and several others.

By placing photos of celebrities on their websites, which are always created on dubious domains, the scam places interviews that would have been 'censored' by the mainstream media, thus creating a completely fraudulent narrative for investors.

The new victim of this scam is the presenter Danilo Gentili, who, according to a publication on his Twitter, where he has almost 17 million followers, warned his followers and denied making investments in cryptocurrencies.

“It's home on Yahoo and a big ad runs on the net using my photo, my name and even a fake interview with me with false data about me about investments and cryptocurrencies. I am NOT part of this. I NEVER invested in cryptocurrencies. I’m already taking the appropriate measures.”

By sharing images of fake websites that also use the image of Yahoo, UOL and other major Brazilian news portals, Danilo demonstrated that the scam tries to convince investors to deposit cryptocurrencies in portfolios under the group's control. For this, they use false phrases, reproducing a possible speech by the presenter.

It is worth mentioning that the coup Bitcoin Loophole is the subject of a police investigation in the State of São Paulo.

International coup has given work to investigators

Danilo Gentili has been mentioned in pages like this since 2020, when the singer Chico Buarque was also mentioned in the fake pages.

However, the biggest problem with the Bitcoin Loophole scam, also known as Revolution, and now masquerading as Immediate Edge, is that it is international. That is, the whereabouts of the creators of these fake sites are not known.

In recent months, for example, a Colombian influencer denied investing in Bitcoin after seeing his image circulated on suspicious pages in a similar way to Danilo Gentili's situation.

With the case in the hands of investigators, however, the alert continues to be made by personalities who find themselves involved in boring situations. Tiago Leifert, for example, even declared that denies being a cryptocurrency investor all day long on his social media.
