The Wonder series that were produced by Netflix will turn streaming red from the first of March. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Defenders, Iron Fist, Punisher and luke cage are the programs achieved. It is not yet known what motivated the decision and the fate of these productions, but it is likely that they will later be relaunched on other platforms, such as Disney+ or Superstar+.

Those who try to watch any of the aforementioned programs receive a notice that they will be available until March 1. After that, they will leave the website, even if they are productions that carry the “Unique Netflix” seal.

It turns out that, currently, the rights to Wonder Studios' productions are exclusively owned by Disney and its official partners. Daredevil and other Wonder series were released at a time when the official partnership with Netflix existed and there were no plans for something like Disney+ on the market.

Even when everything became more concentrated in the hands of “Mickey's House”, including with the launch of Disney+, these Wonder series on Netflix were prematurely canceled, in some cases leaving several stories open and without any prediction of completion.

The future of Daredevil and the rest of the Defenders is expected to be revealed over the next few months, but it's worth remembering that the exhibition deal varies by country. In Brazil, for example, we don't have Hulu streaming, but in the US several Wonder productions are present there, as Disney is one of the owners of the platform.

The Return of Daredevil

Another good hint of what's to come is that, recently, we had the return of actor Charlie Cox as Daredevil in the movie. Spider-Man: Never Go Home. The feature film is a Sony production in partnership with Wonder Studios, but Cox has not reprised his role as attorney Matt Murdock since the show's cancellation.

This may indicate that Wonder Studios will launch new productions starring the actor and his iconic character soon, either with new films or even new seasons of the old series. It remains to wait.
