The three actors returning to the franchise in Jurassic World: Dominion are Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum. The film will follow the events of "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom", where dinosaurs now roam the human world, arousing the curiosity and fear of many people.

Neill will play Alan Grant, the world's leading expert on dinosaurs, while Dern will play Ellie Sattler and Jeff Goldblum will continue as scientist Ian Malcolm, who will help solve the big problem with the increasingly frequent conflict between dinosaurs and humans.

Watch the trailer below:

The cast will also reunite BD Wong as the ambitious Dr. Wu, who gave rise to Jurassic Park, as well as Mamoudou Athie and DeWanda Wise, who will play new characters in the franchise. Also present will be Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire and Chris Pratt as Owen, who will certainly play prominent roles in the feature.

Jurassic World: Dominion is scheduled for release on June 9, 2022 in theaters under the direction of Colin Trevorrow, who was also responsible for the first Jurassic World released in 2015.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the premiere of Jurassic: World Dominion, sixth chapter of the franchise created by Steven Spielberg, had to be postponed multiple times, but this week, Universal Pictures released a video with the first five minutes of the film, showing a little of how this coexistence between dinosaurs and humans will be today.

In the video, we see a bunch of different species living in nature, showing the times when dinosaurs dominated the Earth and were sovereign. The scene ends with a mosquito stinging a dead tyrannosaurus, making a direct reference to the first film, where John Hammond used the blood absorbed by these insects to recreate the species.

Then we see the imposing carnivorous dinosaur being chased by a helicopter, when it ends up arriving at a drive-in movie theater and terrorizing those there.

Jurassic World is one of the most famous film franchises and today the first teaser of Jurassic World Dominion has already been released, bringing even more news to the film that would initially premiere on June 11, 2021.

The teaser is only 15 seconds long, but it's enough for us to notice how the dinosaurs will be even more real in the new film. Colin Trevorrow, who is the film's director, explained to Entertainment Weekly that Jurassic World: Dominion will tell more about the dinosaurs' past and how they came to be in the Cretaceous period.

Check out the teaser below:

In the interview it was also mentioned that the 5-minute trailer will be released next Thursday, June 24 before the screening of Fast and Furious 9 in theaters in IMAX.

Entertainment Weekly, which already managed to see this trailer, stated that it will be set 65 million years ago, showing the height of the Age of Dinosaurs, where many unknown creatures will be displayed.

The trailer will also show a well-known insect that will meet the famous T-Rex seen in Jurassic Park. Leaving for another scene of the trailer where the present day is shown, we will see the T-Rex jumping over a drive-in, where more characters from the franchise will appear.

Trevorrow still says this film is a big challenge, as he initially directed Jurassic World which opened in 2015 and will now bring the franchise to his point of view with the "correct story" and what he called the "culmination of the 6 films" . The main difficulty is to combine all the characters in the new reality, where humans and dinosaurs are forced to live in harmony.

Jurassic World: Dominion will open in theaters on June 9, 2022, but if you can't wait until then, know that Netflix has already produced an animation based on the franchise., in addition to having several of her films available in the catalogue.
