Keanu Reeves and the cast of 'Matrix: Resurrections' are confirmed at CCXP Worlds 21; edition will have digital format | Pop & Art

Reeves joins Jonathan Groff, Jada Pinkett Smith, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick and Erendira Ibarra for the Warner Bros. Pictures, which takes place on December 5, the last day of the event.

For the second consecutive year, the Comic Con Experience takes place in digital format. This year, it will be held on the 4th and 5th of December.

The meeting between the stars of “Matrix Resurrections”, which hits theaters on December 22, marks the closing of the event.

“Matrix Resurrections” is the fourth film in the franchise, which premiered on the big screen in 1999. The feature also features actors Carrie-Anne Moss, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Christina Ricci, Telma Hopkins, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt and Brian J. Smith.

Lana Wachowski, creator of the story with her sister Lily Wachowski, was responsible for writing, producing and directing the new film.

In September, the first trailer was released, in which Reeves' character appears with a new identity and has no memory of past events.

THE Comic Con Experience will be held in digital 100% format for the second consecutive year because of the coronavirus pandemic. Instead of the traditional four days, CCXP Worlds 21 will have just two: December 4th and 5th.

The edition will have five stages of content and three simultaneous streams. The main ones are these:

• thunder arena: ads, trailers, unpublished content, previews and interviews with actors and directors;
• Artists' Valley: dedicated to artists, with work presentations, classes, workshops and comic book battles;
• Creators & Cosplay Universe: musical performances, game shows, chats, podcast duel and cosplay contest;
• Game Arena Tribe: stage with 24 hours of programming during the two days of the festival, with industry launches and a challenge between gamers;

The panels, with interviews and guests, will have free access. Access to the rest of the activities can be accessed through two packages: Digital Experience or Home Experience. Ticket sales start October 15th.

To compensate for the smaller edition this year, the organization released two events for the 2022 edition:

• CCXP Awards | May – Unprecedented pop culture award;
• CCXP | December – Traditional and face-to-face format at São Paulo Expo.
