Consider yourself as a movie buff? Well, here's a chance to prove your encyclopedic knowledge of cinema with a new Wordle alternative that swaps words for movies.

Is called framed, and the premise is simple: you're given a still image of a movie, and you have six guesses to identify the movie. Things get a little easier as the picture changes with each incorrect guess, so don't give up hope if the first frame has you stumped. Also, you can scroll back through previous pictures to look for more clues as the game progresses.

Of course, the important goal is to guess the movie in as few tries as possible (once you've got a score you're proud of yourself) post directly to social media to brag about your movie-watching credentials.

The game doesn't appear to be dedicated to any specific movie genre, so presumably it could feature frames of everything from blockbuster action movies to arthouse dramas. In fact, the web page's information page only states that the responses are "chosen from a curated list compiled by me".

That said, today's framed answer is definitely a movie you might have heard of. No spoilers here, you'll just have to find out for yourself.
