oneplus: OnePlus Ace launches in China on April 21, design revealed ahead of launch

OnePlus is planning to launch a new series of smartphones, called OnePlus Ace Series. The name of the series was revealed when a device under the line was found listed on the company's official website. The next appliance is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor. The Chinese smartphone maker has now confirmed that OnePlus Ace will be introduced to the domestic market on April 21st.

According to a report by XDA Developers, the brand has also revealed the design of the upcoming phone. The company took to Chinese microblogging site Weibo to reveal the launch date and design of the OnePlus Ace smartphone.
The report suggests that the device will have a two-tone texture on the back and will house a triple rear camera setup. The handset will likely be available in two color options – Silver and Black.
The report also mentions that the OnePlus Ace smartphone will have a centered cutout that will house the selfie shooter, however the device may miss a 3.5mm audio jack and the alert slider.
The device was recently spotted on the Geekbench database website which suggests that the upcoming phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset and will be supported with support of up to 12GB of RAM. The handset is expected to have a 4500mAh battery unit that can support 160W fast charging and the device will likely run at android 12 out of the box.
