Until then, the service's album pages showed two intertwined arrows inside the play button - indicating that the songs would be played randomly. To listen in order, you had to select the first track on the disc.

As of now, album pages have a traditional play button. It is still possible to activate the shuffle mode in the music controls.

On Twitter, Adele commented that this was "the only request" she made.

The streaming service did not miss the opportunity and replied: “anything for you”.

The change in the Spotify interface is only valid for those who subscribe to the platform and within the albums – the playlists, for example, still have the play button with random arrows.
